Chief Judge Lisa Munyon and community leaders celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Orange County Courthouse in Winter Park on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Judge Munyon, alongside Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and Orange County Clerk of Courts Tiffany Moore Russell, expressed their gratitude toward the Board of County Commissioners, the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Government, and the Orange County Clerk of Courts administration for their partnership in this achievement.

This new location has two courtrooms to better accommodate community needs. Judge David P. Johnson will be permanently assigned to this courthouse, allowing county civil cases to be included in the existing docket, which currently consists of infractions and misdemeanors. Traffic hearing officers and judges will hear cases in the second courtroom on a rotating schedule. This state-of-the-art facility has built-in technological infrastructure to hold virtual hearings and the potential of holding jury trials in the future.

The grand opening of this new courthouse on 4037 Metric Drive, Winter Park, FL 32792 will take place in the upcoming weeks. Visit www.myorangeclerk.com for the latest details.
